Hi, I’m Tasha!

I'm the author of this blog and a Silicon Valley product marketer/ data chick/coffee addict, and passionate career mentor/peer advocate.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and spend my time solving extremely complex data problems, forming strategies, blabbing about all things marketing, and day dreaming about how glamorous it would be to blog at a coffee shop everyday with my sunglasses, pup, and a perfectly curated almond milk latte.

I'm a recent MBA graduate with 6+ years of strategy and analytics experience under my belt. I'm also just a Silicon Valley chick climbing the corporate jungle gym, 6 bars at a time. I couldn’t be more excited for you to share this journey with me as I share snippets of my life post-MBA, and my love for travel, fashion, tech, and career development.

Welcome to the Five 2 Nine!

A special place that has a very meaningful spot in my heart.

The numbers five, two, and nine are symbolic to me for 3 reasons.

The first is that I was born on May 29th (5/29). The second is that I spent 3 years of my life working in Tech full-time during the day and spending my evenings going to school as an MBA student. My days would begin at 5am and end a little after 9pm every night. Lastly, my apartment number was 529, and this is exact place where I decided that writing a blog may be a pretty neat idea. Ultimately, this led to the birth of The Five 2 Nine Blog.
